MINUTES of the MEETING of the GREAT YELDHAM PARISH COUNCIL
held in the Reading Room, Great Yeldham on Thursday 7th February 2008. In attendance :- County Councillor Mr. D. Finch. Mr. R. Liming. Clerk to the Parish Council. Apologies for absence:- Mrs. P. Slimming, Mr. D. Dyson, Mr. C. Cumarantunge.
2128. Declarations of interest. None received from members.
2129. Minutes.
2130. Planning applications. After consideration members thought that the application was too open ended, i.e.: “and simlar events”, and that no explanation of how the very restricted Tilbury-Juxta-Clare road could cope with guestimated volumes of traffic over a period of fourteen days. It was resolved by members that whilst having no objections to a one-off music festival of limited duration, such as a social event, they could not support the application as it is. The clerk was instructed to request Braintree District Council to refuse the application.
2131. Correspondence.
2132. Great Yeldham Glades.
2133. Community Initiatives Fund. Village cleaning and the possibility of holding a summer fete were requested as Agenda items for the March meeting. |
