MINUTES of the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the GREAT YELDHAM PARISH COUNCIL.

The meething was held in the Reading Room, Great Yeldham on Thursday 13th May 2010.

Present were:  Mrs P Slimming, Mr C Cumaranatunge, Mrs L Cordell, Mr D Dyson, Mr J Beckett, Mr B Sergeant.

Mr J Beckett and Mr B Sargeant did not vote for election of Chairman and Vice Chairman

In attendance:  District Councillor Mr N McCrea, Mr R Liming, Clerk to the Parish Council.

Before starting the meeting Mrs P Slimming read letters of resignation from the Parish Council from Mr J Oswald and Mr R May and Mr P Rawlinson.

Declarations of Interest. None received from members.

Apologies for absence:  County Councillor Mr D Finch.


2357.  Election of Chairman.
Mr C Cumaranatunge proposed Mrs P Slimming as Chairman. Seconded by Mr D Dyson. Members unanimously voted in favour.

2358.   Acceptance of Office.
The Acceptance of Office document was signed by Mrs P Slimming.

2359.  Election of Vice Chairman.
Mrs P Slimming proposed Mr Cumaranatunge as Vice Chairman. Seconded by Mr D Dyson. Members unanimously voted in favour.

2360.  Acceptance of Office.
The Acceptance of Office document was signed by Mr Cumaranatunge.

2361.  Adoption of the Local Authorities Model Code of Conduct ORDER 20/SI.200711159. Mandatory Section 12(2). EALC Standing Orders. Financial Regulations.
Were unanimously adopted by members.

2363.  Planning Authority for the Clerk.
Members unanimously agreed to delegate authority for the clerk to consult any three members for a decision on planning out of sequence with Planning meetings.
